Lincomycin (LIN), also known as lincomycin, is a lincoamide antibiotic produced by the fermentation of Streptomyces lincomycin, which has strong antibacterial activity and mainly acts on gram-positive bacteria. Lincomycin is used as a feed additive and has the effect of improving the weight gain rate. The main method of use is to add lincomycin products mixed in feed, or use direct injection of sick milk raw breast to treat cow mastitis, both of which will cause drug residues in raw milk. China's food hygiene law stipulates that the milk can not be eaten during the application of antibiotics and within 5 days after drug withdrawal, and the lincomycin residue in raw milk can accumulate through the food chain into the human body and lead to bacterial resistance. Announcement 235 of the Ministry of Agriculture sets the maximum residue limit of lincomycin in milk at 150 µg/kg.
